Daara Akinpelu is an undergraduate research assistant at the Stujenske laboratory, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. She aspires to better understand neural circuitry in how it relates to the clinical manifestations of psychiatric disorders.
Daara is also passionate about improving mental health literacy on campus and serves as President of the Mental Health Student Coalition at Pitt.
